The server software is still on 1.6.4. We have heard rumors of a spigot 1.7 release coming in the next [day] or two, but we will still need to wait for our dependencies to upgrade as well (WorldGuard, WorldBorder, CombatTag, HeroChat, etc). Myself and ocelot are going to be away this weekend so a 1.7 update for the death ban reset (Nov 1st) is unlikely.


HCSMP plugins have been updated with multiple world support. This means things like survival time, campfire, fairspawn, bounty hunter, etc will only work in the HCSMP main worlds (world, world_nether, world_the_end).

A number of outstanding bugs and performance issues were resolved.


The graveyard server has returned as a new world associated with our main server. Living players can continue to play on the main server as usual. Dead player will be transported to the graveyard server, which has been restored with any prior inventories and logout positions. Donating will restore a player back to the main world (relog required).

Living and dead players share global chat, with dead player names set to gray.


We are planning on having weekly events, starting this weekend with an UltraHardcore event. Both living and dead players will be able to join an event if they choose to or continue playing in their respective worlds. We are also planning on having ad hoc events during the week. JoelTheMole and RubblePile will have a more detailed post on this shortly.

Game Play

Enchanted golden apples will be nerfed from Regeneration V to Regeneration III starting Nov 1st.

The Scaling Experience will remain active. Let us know what you think about it. Too much? Too little?
